How to Use Meals.Chat

  1. Send a photo of what you eat or drink. Use Telegram to share the image with Meals.Chat.
  2. Review the AI estimates. The AI will calculate calories, macros (grams and/or percentages), and ingredients.
  3. Adjust as needed. You can reply to correct any inaccuracies or specify goals like a target calorie amount (e.g., "2000 calories").
  4. Set or follow goals. Tell the assistant your exact goal or a description of your target (e.g., weight loss with a specific daily calorie target) and it will help compute progress.
  5. Optional details. You can also request tracking of caffeine intake by sending photos of tea, coffee, or matcha to estimate caffeine content.

If you forget to photograph a meal, you can describe what you had (e.g., "burger and fries" or "latte"), and the AI will estimate based on typical ingredients and portions.
